주식회사 한국로렉스는 2016년에 역대 최대 금액인 약 2,492억원에 해당하는 롤렉스 시계와 부품을 수입하였다. 하지만, 작년에는 약 10% 감소한 2,290억원을 수입하였다.

In 2016, KOREA ROLEX Co., Ltd. imported ROLEX watches and parts worth about 249.2 billion won, the largest amount ever. However, last year, the company imported about 229 billion won, down about 10%.

이렇게 한국으로 공급되는 시계 물량 자체가 감소하였기 때문에, 백화점 매장에서 조차 시계을 구경하기조차 어려워졌고, 장터에서는 일본처럼 높은 프리미엄이 붙어서 거래되고 있다.
