되팔이 억제를 위하여, 2020년 1월 1일 정식가격이 전세계적으로 최대 6% 정도 인상되었다. 인상률은 시장의 프리미엄이 고려된 듯 모델별로 차이가 있다.


To curb resale, the list price was raised by up to 6% worldwide on January 1, 2020. The increase rate is different for each model, as if the market’s premium was taken into account.

일본과 비슷하게, 한국에서도 데이토나가 1511만원에서 1599만원으로 약 6% 인상되었다.
ROLEX Daytona was raised by about 6 percent from 151.1 million won to 159.9 million won in Korea like to Japan.

시장에서 가장 높은 프리미엄을 형성하고 있는 데이토나가 역시 가장 많이 인상되었다. 나머지 모델들도 시장 프리미엄에 거의 비례하여 가격이 인상되었다. 물론, 마이너스 프리미엄인 모델들은 인상되지 않았다. 흥미롭게도, 익스플로어 214270 은 시장에서 프리미엄이 약 20% 형성되어있지만, 이번 가격인상에서 제외되었다. 한국에서는 오히려 가격이 1만원 인하되었다.

Daytona, which forms the highest premium on the market, is also the most raised. The rest of the models were priced up in proportion to the market premium. Of course, models with negative premium were not raised. Interestingly, Explorer 214270 has a premium of about 20 percent in the market, but has been excluded from the price increase. In Korea, the price was even reduced by 10,000 won.
